나비 | Schmetterling | Butterfly

한 건물 안에서 나비를 보았다. 창가에서 펄럭이던 나비는 그 창문을 지나 밖으로 날아 가려고 반복해서 애를 썼지만 언제나 그 창문에 부딪히게 될 뿐이었다. 나비는 자신이 날아가고자 하는 들녘을 바로 눈 앞에서 볼 수 있는데도 자신이 인지하지 못하는 무언가에 가로막혀 그 곳에 갈 수 없었다. 나는 아무 것도 하지 않은 체 그러는 모습을 마냥 보고 만 있었다.

 

 

그렇게 내 의식(意識) 속에 매우 오랫동안 인상(印象)에 남았던 경험으로 이 곡을 사색(思索)하게 되었다. 내가 지켜 봤던 그 장면은 마지막 셋째 악장(樂章)에 담았고, 첫 악장과 둘째 악장은 그 나비가 어디서 왔고, 또 어떻게 그 건물로 들어왔는지 상상하며 음악을 풀었다.

 

 

이 가락은 매우 추상적(抽象的)이지만, 특별한 이야기나 줄거리를 그리며 만들었다. 하지만 청중이 가락을 듣는 동안에 그 이야기의 장면의 하나 하나를 기대하는 것을 원하지 않아 프로그램음악 보다는 절대음악의 형식을 취했다.

Ich hatte im Haus einen Schmetterling gesehen. Er war am Fenster und wollte durch dieses in die Natur zurück fliegen. Aber immer wieder ist er an dieses Fenster gestoßen. Das Ziel des Schmetterlings war es, in die Natur zurück zu kehren. Aber er konnte es einfach nicht schaffen, obwohl er doch sein Ziel, die Natur, direkt vor seinen Augen sehen konnte! Ich hatte die Szene nur gesehen und nicht etwas zu tun.

 

Dieses Erlebnis hinterließ bei mir im übertragen Sinne einen sehr nachhaltigen, persönlichen Eindruck. Dadurch wurde ich angeregt, das Stück zu komponieren. Nur der dritte Satz beinhaltet dieses Geschichte. Im ersten und zweiten Sätze habe ich meiner Fantasie entsprechend versucht auszudrücken, woher der Schmetterling kam und wie er ins Haus der Mensch gelangte.

 

Obwohl die Musik immer abstrakt klingt, basiert mein Stück auf einer bestimmten Geschichte, trotzdem habe ich keine Programmmusik komponiert, sondern quasi eine absolute Musik, weil ich beim Hörer keine festen programmatischen Erwartungen erwecken wollte.

- 3악장 중(中) | aus dem dritten Satz |  from 3rd movement -

I had seen in the house a butterfly. He was at the window and tried to fly through this nature back. But again and again it has hit this window. The goal of the butterfly was to return to nature. But he just could not succeed even though he could see his destination , nature, right before his eyes! I had only seen the scene and not doing anything .

This experience left me with the transferred sense of a very sustainable , personal impression . Thus, I was inspired to compose the piece . Only the third movement consists of this story. In the first and second movements, I have tried according to express my imagination, where the butterfly came from and how he came into the house of the human .

Although the music always sounds abstract, my piece is based on a particular story, but I have composed no program music, rather almost an absolute music, because I wanted to give no fixed programmatic expectations of the listener.
