다루고자 하는 특별한 주제없이 단지 내적(內的) 음악에 귀를 귀울였다. 하나 된 울림 또는 하나의 선율로 들렸으나 그 음색이나 성격이 계속 변하는 그런 음악으로 언제나 가만히 머물러 있는 듯 한 소리였지만, 그 속에 지속적이고 역동적인 움직임이 있었다. 즉, 정적(靜的)과 동적(動的)인 속성이 혼재(混在)되어 동시에 기능하거나 조화를 이루고 있는 것이었다. 앞 부분에서는 정적(靜的)인 것을,  뒷 부분에서는 동적(動的)인 것을 주로 담아내었으나 이 두 가지 속성은 곡 전체에서 언제나 혼재(混在)되어 있다.

Dieses Stück behandelt kein besonderes Thema. Ich hatte dafür nur meine innere Musik versucht zu beobachten. Sie glich einen Unisono. Aber die Charakter veränderten sich fortwärend. Obwohl die Klänge fast immer statisch erscheinen, sind sie in kontinuierlicher und lebendiger Bewegung. d.h. Die Musik schwankt zwischen Statik und Bewegung beide funktioniert, gleichzeitig bzw. miteinander kombiniert.

 

Ich hatte im ersten Teil vor allem statische Klänge auskomponiert, und im zweiten Teil versuchte ich beweglichere Klänge zu komponieren. Letztlich jedoch durchdringen sich beide Elemente fortwährend.

This composition does not refer to a special theme. I only tried to observe and to analyze my inner music, my inner imagination. This led me to a unison. But all those characters continuously changed. Though the sounds seemed to be static, they always remain in a lively movement. In other words, the music vacillates between stasis and movement. Both are functioning at the same time or combined with each other.

The first part is mainly an elaboration of static sounds while in the second the more flexible ones dominate. In the end both principles always penetrate each other.
